Redemption Reapers takes us on a journey into a dark fantasy universe. A deadly danger hangs over the world in the form of the dark forces of Mort, who continue their murderous March, gradually destroying nation after nation. The last hope of mankind is the so-called Ashen Hawk Brigade, a group of once despised adventurers who suddenly become the only resistance movement that can stop the Horde.
As the game progresses, we learn more and more about not only the game world and its dangers, but also about the individual team members, each of whom is struggling with his own demons of the past, broken heart and sense of loss.
In Redemption Reapers, we see the action in isometric view. The game presents us with a number of characters that varied in terms of class, combat skills and preferred weapons; among them we will find, among others, the warrior Sarah, the spear Lugh, the mighty Urs or even the Archer Karren.
During the game, we move through vast maps and implement the tasks set before us, and most importantly – eliminate hordes of opponents. Battles are played in turn-based mode; since you can only lead a team of five into battle, the key to success is to compose a team in such a way that its members complement each other on the battlefield. In addition, an important role is played by the deployment of company members in the arena, the use of formations, the Coordination of attacks or, finally, the reasonable management of action points.
