In the game world, people use special implants developed by Monad, which, when implanted into the nervous system, turn them into cyborgs working on a kind of Autopilot. When the headquarters of the corporation is attacked by an unknown enemy, the task of saving the survivors is entrusted to two firefighters – Jacob Thomas and his partner, Shane Costa. On the spot, however, it turns out that something very bad has happened to the entire staff of the facility, which turns the mission into a real struggle for survival.
In Quantum Error PC Download, we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). Moving through the dark rooms of the facility, we must constantly remain vigilant. In the shadows lurk aggressive and more or less mutated people, which we face, making use of firearms. In addition, during the gameplay we have to look for clues that shed new light on the events that took place here. From time to time, we also deal with solving environmental puzzles and overcoming terrain obstacles, for which we use the professional skills of the characters.
Although Quantum Error is an intergenerational title, the game was created primarily with the PlayStation 5 platform in mind. On the fifth Sony desktop console, the production uses, among other things, ray tracing and operates in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. On both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, there is an advanced engine that ensures that the vast majority of objects encountered along the way behave in accordance with the laws of physics.
