Hellboy Web of Wyrd Download is not a comic book. Instead, in collaboration with the publisher of the series Dark Horse Comics and its creator Mike Mignol, the developers have developed a completely new story. The production is centered around the Butterfly House. This mansion was built to be a gateway to a dimension known as the Wyrd.
During the game you control an agent of the Office of Paranormal Research and defense, namely the eponymous Hellboy-half demon, half man. The protagonist is sent to search for an agent who has gone missing in the Butterfly House. Hellboy Web of Wyrd has a graphic design heavily inspired by comics.
Gameplay in Hellboy Web of Wyrd Download is based on exploring new locations and fighting with hordes of opponents. The very system of clashes has been carefully designed – with the progress of the adventure opponents are becoming more demanding and to defeat them you need to perform more and more complex attacks.
