Although Marvel Snap Download for PC is a representative of the CCG Genre, several elements were realized in it differently than in many other popular productions of this type. Although the game is also observed from above and we place our cards on the visible board, it is not divided into clear zones, and the gameplay itself is much more dynamic. Each round takes about three minutes, and players do not wait for the opponent’s move to be able to perform their own, but take action simultaneously. Thus, in addition to strategic thinking, it is also important to make quick decisions and adapt to changes in the system of forces on the board. The decks with which we play duels are built from twelve cards from all that we have unlocked so far. This makes their formation faster and easier, while maintaining the strategic depth typical of this species. All cards have their strength expressed numerically and additional effects, released in appropriate situations.

Each match takes place in three locations. To win, we need to gain an advantage in two of them. A fight is won when, after all the cards have been played, their combined strength is greater than the opponent’s. This is achieved by sensibly eliminating the opponent’s character, bringing out attacks with their heroes having higher coefficients. For the victory we get points called Cosmic Cubes – as the fight goes on, their number grows, and in addition, we can increase it ourselves. For Points Earned, we unlock more cards and place them in our collection. Marvel Snap Download for PC is designed to be played by two people over a network and is entirely based on 1vs1 duels. We can conduct both training and ranking clashes.

Cards and boards were kept in a colorful style, and all the characters were recreated faithfully with comic book Originals. Some of the cards appear in different variants, referring to the appearance of characters from specific films or series, and all of them have their own variations presented by a different style of execution: some were executed in the cell shading technique, others in pixel art, etc. At the time of the launch of the game, all cards were 150, and the number began to increase with subsequent seasons.
