In the game Cocoon we watch the action from a bird’s eye view. The main element of the game is jumping between worlds. Each of them is placed inside a ball, which our ward can carry on his back. In addition, individual balls have unique capabilities, such as discovering paths invisible to the naked eye or activating machinery encountered along the way. There are many puzzles based on these two elements that are waiting to be solved here. Puzzles require not only to use the abilities provided to the protagonist by individual balls, but also to jump into worlds in a certain order.
The adventure takes us through a variety of locations-from large industrial complexes, through the wasteland reaching to the horizon, ending with extensive caves. It is worth remembering that each of the worlds is guarded by a Guardian, which we must defeat in order to be able to fully use the potential of a given sphere. Clashes with subsequent bosses are based on other schemes and require mastering unique mechanics.
