The Caligula Effect 2 PC Download takes us on a journey to Tatefushi Academy, located in a world called Redo. The latter is a simulation in which people forget about their past and gain new, virtual lives, free from the problems and sorrows that they faced in reality. Although this place looks like a paradise in the assumptions, it turns out that in fact it looks more like a prison. In the end, Redo, and with him his constructor – Regret – found himself in the crosshairs of a certain X, who is trying to restore memories to its inhabitants in order to gain allies who will help her put an end to him.
During the game, we play the character whose X was the first to restore the memory of the past and become the leader of the resistance movement known as the Go-Home Club. Our mission is to recruit new members, help the people of Redo, and find a way to destroy Regret and all of Redo.
In The Caligula Effect 2 PC Download, we see the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). During the game, we travel around Redo, talk to its inhabitants and perform a variety of tasks. On the way to the Go-Home Club, new members join; each of the characters has two personalities – a virtual one, visible in Redo, and a real one, which we have to discover over time. We get to know allies better by completing their missions and discussing them in a special chat – WIRE; the closer the relationship with a given character, the more we will learn about it.
