Sprocket is an independent production that is a variation on the popular tank simulators. However, the main attraction here is not so much driving, but the independent construction of these armored vehicles. The title originated as a project of Hamish Dunn, who developed the project, first alone, then with the help of players in early access.

On August 26, 2021, Sprocket was released as part of steam’s Early Access, where it was supposed to remain for 24 months. This version of the game included all the basic game mechanics, but offered only some of the options and design elements planned by the creator. It lacked the function of rounding the armor, the ability to add several guns, quadruple tracks, etc. The title also offered a modest number of scenarios.
Moreover, in early access, Sprocket was a strictly single player entry-Hamish Dunn predicted the addition of multiplayer mode only in the third quarter of 2022, along with support for more languages, mods, Steam achievements and other missing elements. In addition, as with such versions, Sprocket still needed to be refined in technical and audiovisual terms.
Sprocket is divided into two related modules. The first of these is the tank editor, in which we can create our own vehicle from scratch. The game allows you to freely shape the hull and turret, choose the thickness of armor, characteristics of guns or tracks and change many other elements.
The second component of Sprocket PC Game Download is field tests. Each vehicle can be tested in combat, whether against our other creations or default tank models. Importantly, the number of vehicles on each side depends on their cost – too expensive unit will make us stand to fight alone. If the machine we are driving is destroyed, we automatically take control of another friendly tank (by default, driven by artificial intelligence). There are also no abstract health points here – the machine remains operational as long as the necessary mechanisms work.
