To this vibrant world, whose progress of civilization is provided by steam engines, we find ourselves in the skin of one of the eight characters. The heroes and heroines come from different regions and social strata of the soloist, have unique specializations and talents, and are guided by different motivations.

Octopath Traveler II begins with a choice of eight characters. We are talking about the warrior Hikari, the dancer Agnei, the merchant Partitio, the scholar Oswald, the Throne Thief, The cleric Temenos, the Hunter Ochette and The Apothecary Castti. Then we have no choice but to plunge into the whirlwind of adventures that lead us through the various corners of the soloist. Traveling through the land, we get to know its inhabitants, meet other heroes who join our team, and also perform various tasks.

Staying in Solistia is not an idyll, so when traveling this land there is no shortage of opportunities to fight. Clashes take place in turn-based mode, and during them we must make good use of the individual abilities of individual characters and choose attacks in such a way as to target the weaknesses of individual enemies. In addition, over the next rounds, we gain so-called Boost Points, which allow us to strengthen certain skills. A new feature is the Latent Power indicator, after completing which we gain access to a powerful special ability.

The graphics of Octopath Traveler 2 PC Download have been maintained in the well-known “HD-2D”style. Behind this enigmatic term lies a style that combines 16-bit sprites and a three-dimensional environment. The whole is made in the pixel art technique and enriched with modern solutions, led by dynamic lighting. However, the authors made a number of changes to it, which include, first of all, improved proportions of the characters and new animations, as well as a moving camera, showing the action from different perspectives.
