My Time at Sandrock is a sandbox RPG with simulator elements, which is a continuation of the My Time At Portia released in 2019. The title is inspired by Dark Cloud 2, Harvest Moon and Hayao Miyazaki. It was developed by Chinese independent studio Pathea Games.

My Time at Sandrock PC Download takes place in the eponymous desert city belonging to the Alliance of Free Cities, where the main character arrives to work as a builder, at about the same time as the storyline My Time At Portia. The town is in bad shape and the protagonist tries to reverse its fate. The central theme of the story is coping with difficulties through cooperation with other people.
In My Time at Sandrock PC Download, we watch the action from behind the back of the hero or heroine. The production combines mechanics typical of the RPG genre with solutions derived from survival simulators. We explore three-dimensional environments, talk to characters and perform tasks. It is worth noting that the world of My Time at Sandrock changes with the passage of time – we have cyclical holidays and changeable weather.
The creators have developed a completely new AI system, thanks to which independent characters are more reliable and interesting. The player also has the opportunity to enter into various kinds of relationships with people encountered.
In the production there were also dungeons, which can be divided into three types. In the first of them we find valuable treasures, but we do not have to worry about enemies. In the second, quite the opposite – we encounter mainly opponents with whom we have to fight. The system responsible for the clashes is skillful, but it has a bit more depth than in My Time at Portia. The third type is places that have been partially discovered by someone else – in these you will find both treasures and monsters.
