Legend of Man is a 1999 two-dimensional action RPG remastered by Square. The original title is formally the fourth installment of the Mana series, as the first part of the series was released in the West either as a spin-off of the Final Fantasy series (in America) or as Mystic Quest. Production was renewed for three of the four previous installments of the series: Adventures of Mana, Secret of Mana, and Trials of Mana.

Legend of Mana PC Download – Review:

As a typical high fantasy convention game, Legend of Man takes us to a universe full of magic and monsters. However, at the time of its inception, the world of Fa’diel is almost empty due to the cataclysm that took place nine centuries earlier. That’s when the Mana tree, the source of life and magical energy, was almost completely burned. Thus a war broke out between the inhabitants of Fa’diel, which eventually led to the closure of many lands in ancient artifacts. The task of the hero or heroine, led by the player, is to restore the Mana tree, the whole world and its magical energy to its former glory.

Like the previous Mana remasters, Legend of Mana PC Download is an action RPG with a view from above. During the game, together with up to two companies, we explore locations where we will encounter independent characters and monsters. Monsters are defeated in combat, using magic and weapons, and in the case of weapons, using their special attacks called Special Techs. From time to time we also get powerful bosses, and as the game progresses, we gain experience and develop the abilities of the hero.

The biggest new feature in Legend of Mana PC Download is the Land Make system. When we start the adventure, most of the map is literally empty. To change this, we must find the artifacts in which the ancient lands were sealed. Then we place them in the place of their choice, so that there appears a city, a dungeon or another location. These differ not only in appearance, but also in the monsters and objects present in them. These places also describe so-called Mana Levels for each of the eight types of magic attributed to mythical creatures such as geniuses, bonfires, salamanders and Gnomes. The higher the level of Mana, the more effective these spells are during clashes in this area. All this can also change depending on the artifacts adjacent to the location.
