Siege the Day is a tower defense strategy game in which you create your own castle in a fantasy world and defend it from enemy attacks. Hidden Tower Studios is responsible for the creation of the title, which has several smaller productions on its account. The game could be tested in early access.

Siege the Day PC Download – Review:

Each battle takes place on a map divided into two sectors: ours and the enemy’s. During the clashes we get a certain number of points, spent by us on the expansion of the castle. Among the available objects are typically defensive structures, such as walls, gates or towers, offensive, such as siege engines, and buildings that allow you to recruit support units. When we think we’re ready, or we run out of points, we go into battle. Siege the Day has an eye-pleasing fairytale graphic frame with low detail models.

With the help of our equipment, such as catapults or ballistics, we fire at the enemy Structure. At the same time, for the coins we have, we recruit units whose task is to get into the enemy’s Castle in order to inflict additional damage there. We facilitate their task by demolishing Gates or special buildings of the opponent. With each new map we unlock new, more powerful structures and forms of attack.

An additional resource is mana, which allows you to use one of the powerful magical skills during the battle, such as a fiery stone falling from the sky or a dragon flying over the opponent’s Castle. The use of each of them is limited, so it is worth carefully planning this movement. Clashes end when all the most important buildings of the opponent or ours are destroyed.

There are several fun modes available in the Siege the Day PC Download. The first with it is training: it allows you to measure yourself against AI without gaining experience points or subsequent ranks. The second is a campaign, consisting in passing certain stages in a predetermined order. The third is a quick match, which operates on similar principles as training, with the difference that it gives us experience and allows you to gain more ranks.

These ranks, in turn, are needed for the last of the modes, that is, battles with other players. PvP duels take place in the same way as with SI, that is, 1 on 1. In them, we get the opportunity to construct your castle, and then we move on to a duel in real time, during which we try to get rid of the opponent’s fortifications.
