Layers of Fears is a first-person adventure game held in the convention of psychedelic horror. Its development-like the two previous series, Layers of Fear and Layers of Fear 2 – was taken care of by the Polish studio Bloober Team. As in the case of “one”, the team collaborated with another native developer, namely Anshar Studios.

Although Layers of Fear PC Download was built on the foundations of the first two installments of the series, it tells a completely new story. It is still strongly inspired by 19th – century painting and architecture, and treats artists enslaved by obsession – experiencing a variety of fearful visions-but the developers have approached the motifs known from the original in a completely fresh, sometimes surprising way. In addition, many threads have been significantly expanded.
The plot changes did not bring significant innovations in the gameplay. It involves exploring dark corridors and discovering their secrets by interacting with various types of objects. Combat as such is impossible – the player does not participate in direct clashes, and therefore can not use weapons. As a result, he must find another way to overcome the obsession that torments the protagonist.
Layers of Fear PC Download is based on Unreal Engine 5. This allowed the game to implement ray tracing, HDR, 4K resolution, as well as the Lumen system, providing an engaging and moving in-depth gameplay experience.
