Flagship Download for PC – Review:

The action is set in the distant future, at a time when humanity colonized virtually the entire solar system and began to conquer further regions of the Galaxy. Unfortunately, the aggressive expansion led to a conflict with a much more powerful militarily alien race. In the end, our species lost the war and was forced to abandon its former planets. The survivors fled to distant regions of the galaxy and there they are trying to create their new home. We take on the role of commander-in-chief of the remnant fleet, on whose shoulders falls the responsibility of rebuilding the human empire.

Flagship Download for PC casts us in the role of admiral and never lets us jump out of it. Control the hero resembles a typical game FPP. Numerous monitors and devices have been placed on the bridge, through which we give orders to individual ships that are part of the Armada. During the game, we are engaged in the exploration of the galaxy, the accumulation of resources and star battles. Forcing a first-person perspective significantly changes all these actions, making it difficult to issue commands quickly, which makes it necessary to plan actions well in advance. The authors also made it possible to direct fighters and bombers. From their cockpits, however, command of the fleet is difficult, so it is rather an option that should be left to yourself at the very end of the clash, when the outcome of the entire skirmish is predetermined.

The game is made in full 3D, with an intuitive interface, in which the crosshairs when pointed at the interactive screen turns into a cursor that allows you to operate the device and give orders. The authors provided support for VR glasses Oculus Rift, although at the same time without problems you can also play on a traditional monitor.
